I don’t have any license but am interested in becoming trained and licensed. I’ve got basic knowledge is all
Greetings David,
The CMECP® Program is for existing electricians and not for anyone not licensed. You will need to seek out local apprentice programs or work for an electrical contractor to accumulate the required hours needed for testing. Once you have the hours then you can seek licensure. Once you become licensed you could enter our programs, either as a journeyman electrician seeking to pass your masters exam or as a master electrician seeking CMECP® Certification. However, once you have the required hours in the field then you can begin your licensing journey. For Exam Prep Courses you can visit https://fasttraxsystem.com as well. Good Luck in your journey.
NJ has an apprentice class A and then a step above, like me, is a licensed contractor. Am I eligible?
Greetings Matt – Anyone with a Journeymans License is elegible for the 12 Month Journeyman Program.
